Lasikuula (The Glass Sphere)

Lasikuula is a collection of my autobiographical comics from early 1990’s when I was a squatter, an art school student and tried to make a career in rock. As an environmental statement the cover was printed with natural colours on fish crate wrapping cardboard. The result was bookstores complaining that it looked “dirty” and “not attractive”. I had also suggested the book be sold on lower price, but somehow that idea didn’t make it to the booksellers.

Some stories in Lasikuula were previously published in Ylioppilaslehti, the major student paper in Finland on which I was a regular cartoonist.
